At the end of January, I set out to start my own production company, making films based on the things I am passionate about, adventure & culture.
Since founding the business, I have been hard at work on both client and passion projects.
Four months on, our first documentary series, Creative Me, has been released, which takes a look at the life and work of Kingsley Chapman, an artist and musician based in Middlesbrough, UK.
The documentary also looks at the art gallery, The House of Blah Blah. I wanted to find out why it was founded and what it was like to run a gallery.
Today is the launch of our website. We are now actively looking for clients to work with. Clients that share our philosophies and our love of adventure & culture.
Moving on into the second half of the year, we have some great projects lined up, working with various organisations. I am excited to share these in the near future!
I am also documenting this journey alongside my filmmaking tutorials and gear reviews on izakjackson.com - Join me on my journey to learn filmmaking!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few months. It has been a very busy, but enjoyable time, and I am hyped for what is in store with Volta Media.
