Surfers Against Sewage: Adding our voice to the roar of the ocean!
One of the biggest issues we are facing as a society right now is the climate crisis. The environment is something we are extremely passionate about, and we want to do everything we can to protect it.
We believe that every company should be in the business of giving back, which is why we have a social impact programme. We want to have a positive impact on the world around us.
One of the biggest issues we are facing as a society is the climate crisis.
Did you know that almost half of the UN Sustainability Goals are about improving our environmental impact?
Environmental Impact
The environment is something we are extremely passionate about, and we are already a climate positive company, working with Offset Earth to fund climate projects and plant trees.
We also say yes to renewable energy, powering our office with 100% sustainable electricity.
Pledge 1%
In April this year, we became a proud member of Pledge 1%, and as a company, we contribute at least 1% of our revenue and 1% of our time to a different cause every year. We will also allow employees to spend 1% of their time volunteering for a cause of their choosing.
As a part of this, we wanted to work closely with an environmental charity, helping to fund their projects and spread their message.
The charity we have chosen to work with is Surfers Against Sewage.

Surfers Against Sewage
As a member of the Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) 250 Club, we are helping the fight against plastic pollution, pushing the government for change and holding brands to account.
SAS are tackling ocean pollution in a variety of ways, whether that is through educating young people and inspiring them to take action against plastic waste, supporting towns and cities in their quest to become plastic free, or putting pressure on the government to outlaw non-recyclable plastic.
The work they are doing is truly inspiring and I am proud to be supporting them.
There's so much more we want to be doing to have a positive social impact and this is just the beginning.
Over time we will be adding more policies to our social impact programme, and doing our bit, no matter how small, to have an impact on the world around us.
